Hey Ladies.....Back from Hawaii today...What a trip!!!...I have never stayed at such an upscale hotel...It was WOW from beginning to end....Steve's company really went above and beyond...We had 2 free nights prior to the rest of his colleagues arriving...There were great events every evening, culminating in mini for-2 picnic tables and adirondack chairs with picnic baskets sprawled across the lawn to seat about 600!...The Gin Blossoms performed as we sipped wine and had our own little smorgasborg...This is a pic following my very first snorkling experience...The big line across my forehead is the indentation from my mask-not a big 43 year old wrinkle-ha!!!!

ReplyDeletehey girlfriend...I'm back too!!! I've been stretched every which way but loose and I did look like a 49 year old wrinkle....so YAYYYY! Adrienne got pampered..Give me the details of UPSCALE...Was it full turn down service? Did you have your own private butler? Was it pineapple smoothies on demand? What?? Oh! and what a great "first snorkeling" story! Mr. Man has a friend with a boat (this sounds like a joke, right?) Anyhoo, on one visit, very soon, he's taking us to Bimini. It's only 1 1/2 hours (a three hour tour melody playing in the brain's soundtrack), so I'll be talking sooner (or later) about the boat trip to Bimini...

My next post was going to be "Where the hell is Cindy???!!!"....I missed you, sister!...As for the pampering...I got a hot stone massage one day (wonderful while it lasted BUT left red welts on me for a good 12 hours after-pretty)..On the beach, they had "pool boys" walking by offering to spritz your face w/Evian, or feed you fresh pineapple chunks....Our room was almost the size of the whole downstairs of my house...Ahhhhh...It was the LIFE!...I want to hear about your time w/your honey...(and will look forward to a future Bimini post!)
ReplyDeleteyou will have to wait until Sept 3rd for a new update with mr. man...i'm picking him up in orlando..we're spending 2 nights in gainesville with one of his bfff's, we're going to the gator game (university of florida) with one of my buddies...then we are headed to st augustine for 2 more nights...i just can't wait to see him....he likes role play, so i'm gonna entertain the idea of mr man as my personal pool boy..... so the moral of the story, you had it reversed with the hot stone massage..sounds like it was a no GAIN, no PAIN... ha ha ha ha
