Hawaii 2010

Steve and I hanging under the umbrella at the magnigicent beach....Hundreds of dolphins visited the beach daily...People were actually surrounded by them! (NOT me...I don't like feeling anything brushing by me in the water) This is paradise for sure.

  2. Those dolphins must be the distant cousins of the ones who swim in the Gulf at Key Biscayne..The ones we have seen lately are wearing signs, "BP killed my mother." It's very sad, actually...There's not HUNDREDS of them...Would you say that Hawaii is still (surprisingly) an unspoiled paradise with all the flora and fauna (and FUN-a)?? I'M BACK BABY!!!

  3. Actually. Lanai is VERY different from the other islands....When we first arrived (Oh-forgot to mention the shitshow that was my trip TO Hawaii---Delta decided that we were 10 minutes too late to load our luggage on the flight--even though we were in line for 20 mins....Best they could do for us was send me on the 7 am flight and Steve on the 1 seat left on the 8 am flight---I went throught Utah, He went through Minniapolis and we didn't see each other again until we arrived 12 hours later in Honolulu---tears were involved on my part...I got the only seat on the plane that the tv wasn't working AND they didn't feed me...torture-hee, hee!...Once we met up again, all was good.)...Upon arrival in Lanai, it looked like we landed on the moon...brown, dry terrain???....There is really not much on the island besides the 2 Four Seasons resorts. which are typical paradise....They are lush and beautiful...Apparently there has been an aweful drought that killed, um-everything?!... SO sad about those dolphins...Happy you are back!
